Birth Doula
You deserve a doula! A doula who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo of the traditional "on your back birth" or fear based education and birth.
Evidence shows that phsyiological birth and undmedicated moms and babies do better.
Even if you've hired a homebirth or birth center midwife you're going tonee education and a doula to tend to you until the midwife arrives.

Hi I'm Wendy!
I believe that pregnancy is a natural and beautiful experience that should be embraced with joy and excitement. Birth is not a medical event!
Over the last 17 years I've attended home births, and hospital births where I've learned from the doctors, nurses and midwives who attended "my moms".
Beautiful, physiological birth in a quiet, dim and safe enviromnent can be crafted for the easiest and most pwerful experience. While I am not against medications, I consider myself a "wholistic" doula. Since mind, body and soul must all be aligned in order for a woman to have the best opportunity to have an unintervened birth, I teach my moms about building the perfect birth team.
I love to help moms who are intending to use holistic natural methods to remain calm and comfortable. "My moms", as I like to call them, aren't afraid to question, resist and even rebel a little against the status quo. They want the least interventions while still remaining open to whatever turn their birthing might take.
